Cast from the lower jaw of the rat and reminiscent of the decorative and sinuous lines of the Art Nouveau aesthetic, each jaw piece was positioned into multiples. These recurring motifs were then faced inward, creating a new pattern that transforms into floral symmetry. The long, curved front tooth of the rat, the incisor, appropriates the very nature of Art Nouveau. With sinuous, organic curves, these designs are edgy in subject matter and elegant in execution.
